Intellectual Property and Competition Law ShortCourse

This is an introductory course and is aimed at anyone who has an interest in Intellectual
Property (IP) and Competition Law. A similar course was offered in Namibia in 2022 and 2023.
On request, we are, therefore, again offering the course in Namibia this year. The course has
been offered in Stellenbosch for the past 13 years.

The Short Course is presented by the Anton Mostert Chair of IP Law and other staff of the
Faculty of Law at Stellenbosch University, and leading practitioners in the area of IP Law.
A certificate of attendance will be awarded by Stellenbosch University. The certificate
programme is accredited by Stellenbosch University’s Division: Short Courses.

The course is practical, and questions will be answered throughout each presentation. Each
attendee will be provided with copies of the presentations on SharePoint.
